-The first phase of the Hakuba project, six independent villas are planned in the Ochikura area-

ALMIGO corp. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Toru Takeuchi; hereinafter referred to as “our company”) has begun development of six detached villas in the Ochikura district of Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture, as the first phase of its recently announced development plan in the Hakuba area.
This project involves placing six detached villas in harmony with the natural environment on a site of approximately 3,300 square meters. The project is currently in the basic concept stage, with design and administrative discussions to follow.

■The land of Hakuba and Ochikura

The Ochikura district has a relatively quiet environment within Hakuba, where you can experience the magnificent scenery of the Northern Alps and the changing seasons up close.
It has the potential to become a year-round resort, offering not only the winter ski season but also trekking and mountain activities in the green season.

 

■Direction of development

This project is based on the basic principles of a design that is in harmony with nature, a harmony between indoors and outdoors, and a lifestyle that embraces snowy mountain culture. We are envisioning a high-quality villa worthy of the international mountain resort of Hakuba.
We will consider the optimal form that makes the most of the characteristics of the land, while keeping in mind the philosophy of the vila, one of ALMIGO’s brands.

1. A design that is in harmony with the laws of nature
At the core of our concept is a sharply sloped roof that does not reject the falling snow, but rather naturally accepts its weight and flow.
The silhouette, which does not defy the laws of nature, depicts a landscape that is necessarily meant to exist in this place.

2. A quiet moment where the inside and outside resonate with each other
The living room features a large opening that boldly frames the snowy landscape of Hakuba.
While protected by a highly insulated environment, the view extends deep into the forest. The experience of the warmth of the interior blending with the silence of the outdoors will bring a sense of peace that is unique to this location.

3. Living in the snowy mountains
Additionally, with consideration given to the flow of people enjoying winter sports, we are considering arranging a dedicated space where equipment can be dried and maintained smoothly.
More than just a storage space, we will strive to create a functional space that connects the snowy mountains with everyday life, supporting the Hakuba lifestyle.

 

■About the future

We are currently planning development in several other areas in the Hakuba area.
This project in the Ochikura district marks the first step, and we will be announcing concepts and architectural images as the design progresses.
We will continue to promote hotel development that creates lasting value while coexisting with the local nature and culture.
