ALMIGO Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in connection with the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”).
Definition of Personal Information
“Personal information” refers to information as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, and means information relating to a living individual, including name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, and other descriptions that can identify a specific individual, as well as data such as facial images, fingerprints, voiceprints, and health insurance card numbers that can identify a specific individual on their own (personal identification information).

The Company may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver’s license number when users register for the Services.
The Company may also collect transaction records or payment information, including personal information, that have been made between users and the Company’s business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and advertising distributors; hereinafter referred to as “Business Partners”).
Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

How to accept such requests
Notwithstanding the above, the following cases do not constitute third-party provision:

When personal information is jointly used with a specific party, provided that the details (items of information, scope of joint users, purpose of use, and party responsible for management) have been notified to the individual or made easily accessible
Disclosure of Personal Information
When requested by the individual, the Company will disclose their personal information without delay. However, the Company may choose not to disclose all or part of the information in the following cases, and in such cases, the user will be notified without delay. A handling fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged.

Notwithstanding the above, the Company will not, in principle, disclose non-personal information such as history information or characteristic information.
Correction and Deletion of Personal Information
If a user’s personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “Correction”) in accordance with the Company’s prescribed procedures.
Upon determining that such a request is necessary, the Company will promptly carry out the Correction.
If the Company decides not to make the Correction, the Company will notify the user without delay.
Suspension of Use of Personal Information
If the Company is requested by the individual to suspend or delete the use of personal information (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use”) on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the stated purpose of use or has been obtained by improper means, the Company will promptly conduct necessary investigations.
If the Company deems it necessary to comply with the request, it will promptly implement the Suspension of Use.
If the Company decides not to implement Suspension of Use, the Company will notify the user without delay.
If Suspension of Use would involve excessive costs or is otherwise difficult to implement, and alternative measures can be taken to protect user rights and interests, the Company will adopt such alternatives.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
The contents of this Policy may be changed without prior notice to users, except as otherwise stipulated by laws or this Policy.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy will take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
