ALMIGO corp.(Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Toru Takeuchi; hereinafter referred to as “our company”)plans to install a “Global WiFi Rental Station” at the front desk of s.Base shijo-omiya (located in Fujioka-cho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) starting in August 2026, as part of its efforts to expand services for international visitors to Japan.

In recent years, securing a reliable internet connection upon arrival in Japan has been one of the first major challenges for the growing number of international visitors. However, Wi-Fi router rental counters at airports are often crowded, and waiting in line places a significant burden on guests who have just completed a long journey.
Furthermore, with the rise in family trips, group travel, and “workations,” there is an increasing demand for high-capacity connectivity—such as the ability for multiple people to share a connection or to stably connect multiple devices like PCs and tablets.
To address this, we have installed a dedicated rental station within the hotel, ensuring that guests can easily access a comfortable internet environment whenever they need it after their arrival.
